Bohemian Like Me took our boho babes to get tribal for our summer shoot. We may not have a beach, but we have water and we have WHITE SAND. What?!? Ya heard right, if you go to the right spot, you will see the white sands. My brothers introduced me to this little oasis yeeeeears ago during their college years, good ol' Lake Ray Roberts in Pilot Point Texas.
The concept for this shoot was a lil tribal, a lil boho, just some girls living their gypsy lives. We got the always stunning Autumn Leppla back with us. This girl is seriously one of the kindest souls I have ever met. Love seeing her sweet face.
Now, you may recognize the lovely Elisa Marie Reynolds from some of our online images and Dallas events. She is officially a boho babe. Thanks for joining us. She always brings the party! Great attitude and just a fun girl.
The newest babe to join us was, druuuuuum rooooooooooll, the sexy Kayci Cole. Met her at the mall, I said "Hey, here's my card" she said "Cool, yeah I model." Ha. Is that creepy? Creepy or not, well worth it. Thank you Kayci for joining the boho team in our lake adventures.
As we all know, it takes a team to put together a photo shoot. We had the lovely Randi Marie Martin and Kim Cutler duo on make-up and sweet Kierra Haynes on hair.
Of course my bae, Bradley Linton was the man behind the lens. Only the best allowed.
Our friends, Jess and Gray, joined us for a bit to assist Bradley, and graciously brought us more beers. Thanks guys! And my sis in law, KyungMi, also hung out and kindly watched over the props by taking a nap next to them. Or maybe I just happened to place all the stuff around her, she did have the best shaded area. She guarded them very well, I must admit. We got a big team of lovers and supporters.
My brothers joined in this time and did a LOT of labor. Thank you Dante for being your patient and determined, wonderful self and putting up my canvas tent, even though the winds were against you man. I later found out he got applauded by a family next to us at lake that watched him for nearly two hours to set that tent up. Thank you for not giving up. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And Ricardo, thank you shopping with me for props, coming up with brilliant canvas idea for tent, and for bringing your canoe and all the other shit we packed up in car. What would a girl do without her brothers.
Stay tuned for our gypsy summer lovin' look book.
